The price these 3 cards went for is very low, primarily because the seller obviously didn't know that these are 1929 Leader Novelty Candy cards. Also, the eBay seller listed them as a 5-day auction, which gave potential bidders less time to discover them than if they had benn listed as a 10-day auction. This shows that there are still eBay finds to be had. Dan, sorry you missed out on the Gehrig.

I am stunned, repeatedly, by how ignorant so many sellers are about what they sell. It’s glorious. Fools and their money, soon parted, ideally by me. Of course, for every seller who ignorantly throws away money in an eBay listing, there are 1,000 chimps who want $4 a card for 1988 Donruss commons.
