I agree, the set is beautiful and underappreciated-
I've collected and followed the set closely for 25 years. Others can probably supply more detailed info, but the story is that these two cards surfaced in one copy each sometime in the 2000s. They were privately sold (actually maybe one was a Lipset auction), possibly still ungraded, and disappeared into deep collections, where I assume they still reside. In my Old Cardboard article on the set I tried to describe the distribution process that produced these rarities, and speculated that there could be a few more out there - but to my knowledge no more have appeared.
