I wonder why this set is not graded by the color same way as E98

Indeed nicely done Phil. I like this pose and how it emphasizes his hands and grip on the bat. It looks like this swing would have likely produced one of his 309 MLB career record 309 triples.

It's a little late for that. They started late with the E98s and all it does is make things confusing.
