Trying to determine if any of these are rare / high value. I have done some online research, but not an expert so getting some conflicting information.

San Francisco Giants: I have only seen two pictures of this design online. value was $85 for one and $150 for other.

Baltimore Orioles: Lots of examples with bird batting, but only found one example with the bird pitching like this, and with the stadium. that one was $140ish.

Kansas City Athletics: I cannot find any pictures or examples of this design online. Plenty with a batting elephant, but the elephant is on all fours with bat in his trunk, no examples anthropomorphized in uniform.

Pittsburgh Pirates: This one seems common, but still seeing values from $25 to $100, which is a wide range.

New York Yankees: Only found one example of this style, bat and crown, and it was on an auctioneers site that required signing up to get more information. I know the Yankees are popular, so if unusual this would be worth something.

I figured a specialty forum would have people in the know, who could tell me some more information on these. Trying to figure out how worth it it would be to start an Ebay account and become a seller, just for these five items.

Any advice or knowledge will be most appreciated. Thank You in advance.
Both supply and demand for vintage pennants is relatively low, certainly too low to establish reliable “market values”. If I had to estimate an “over/under” for each, in an eBay auction, I’d say $35 Pirates, $40 Orioles, $45 Giants, $75 Yankees, $90 Athletics. Large margin of error for each.

If you listed “for sale” and didn’t mind waiting, you could eventually get a little more for each, including $125-150 for the Athletics. That’s a great looking pennant.

You’re probably right. These are beautiful pennants but there’s a lot of them out there.

Thank you. are you recommending 'for sale' on this site, or Ebay?

Try it here first...

As a seller, you would pay no fees to eBay or PayPal.

As buyers, we can avoid the sales tax.

A win-win and worth a try.

Facebook has a couple pennant groups, each with a few thousand members. You'd probably have more luck there...and also no fees to contend with.

OK thanks. I will look into that. I really want a good price, of course, but I also am trying to make this easy for me. Not making this a lifetime process.
