Jeff, congrats on your key involvement in both discoveries of D352 Morehouse Baking cards. Unfortunately, Morehouse #2 burst my balloon. I say this because I've relished having this rare 1-of-1 Morehouse card of WaJo (per the pop reports) for 25+ years. I was so happy that the Morehouse #! find didn't include a WaJo. But apparently, Morehouse #2 did include a WaJo, as a WaJo now appears in the PSA pop report, and I assume it is one of the "big boy cards" that the Morehouse #2 finder has consigned to Heritage. If so, I imagine that Heritage will promote it as the only known Morehouse WaJo, but any Net54 member who bids on it will know there are at least two examples in existence.

Val—I’m sure the HA copy won’t be as nice as yours. Apparently, this group has another Ruth, albeit with a heavy crease through the middle from what I have been told, and a few Wagners. Still no Cobb though from what I have heard.

I remember you asking about WaJo in the first Morehouse find and I was so happy for you to know that you still had the one/only. When I had the chance to see these, I saw the Johnson and thought of you again. But yours is still amazing, beautiful and was a 1/1 for a very long time… king of the hill for 2 and 1/2 decades! And now, it’s still likely the best one (and only one of two, still amazingly rare) There may be more still to follow - but there will never be another 1 of 1 WaJo. Yours had and got to retire that moniker! Jeff

Thanks, Jay and Jeff, for your most kind words. The newly listed example in the PSA pop report is a PSA 3. As we are aware, what gets a 3 grade from PSA these day used to get a 4 or 5 grade. So, I have to think that the newly discovered example is nicer than mine. But, it's all part of collecting, which is such great fun.

Don't have one and probably never will, but reading the offer on the back, I like that you just had to show 50 different cards to get the prize and did not have to trade them in.
