Been selling more than buying recently, but had a couple of new pickups recently that I am really excited about.

This 1938 contract between the Negro National League/NY Cubans for use of Yankee Stadium for a few Negro League games as a fundraiser.

The contract features Ed Barrow's signature, along with 2 signatures from Negro League Executive Gus Greenlee, which was what drove my interest in particular.

I've been looking for a Greenlee signature for years and had never seen one in the wild until I came across this document.

I picked these up. I was wondering about the cloth Indoor baseball. It's supposedly from 1914. Any information about it would certainly be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Indoor baseball was absolutely a thing in the early 1900s...winter months, places where a field might be difficult to access

I wish I knew...I certainly don't see many (or any) others out there like it, so that says something.

I wish there were a marking of some kind to trace back to a firmer timeframe.

Hi-

I could be wrong, but I think the value is around 40.00, maybe less. I have a small indoor baseball collection and I have not paid more than 40 for the ones I have although all of my indoor baseball items came from antique shops and not hobby auctions or sales. Mine are larger than regular baseballs, and are larger than softballs too. I think there were multiple types of indoor baseball games which can explain the different ball sizes.
