Default Hector Espino collectibles

I collect baseball magazines with stars and hall of famers on the cover, so couldn’t pass this up when I saw it on eBay. After a 60 day wait, it finally landed at my doorstep today, straight from Mexico. I’m happy to finally own and share this pickup - the July 15, 1962 Deporte ilustrado magazine, featuring Hector Espino on the cover.

It’s a bit banged up - even chewed up - but couldn’t be happier with this rare Mexican magazine pickup!.

Hector Espino is the Mexican leagues’ all time home run leader at 481 HRs, and is referred to as the Babe Ruth of Mexican Baseball.

His playing days collectibles seem to be few and far between. I am hoping other Hector Espino collectibles will surface.

Please show anything you have from Hector “El Nino” Espino!

Very cool pick-up! Don't see many Mexican League collectibles, and obviously Espino is one of the greats.

It’s too bad about the upper right corner but the colors really pop! Great pickup!
