I think the poster doesn't look like something that was made in the 1930s. The font and design feel vaguely off. The suggestion made above that it was printed in the 1970s sounds plausible to me.

I don't think a generic poster would have pre-printed ticket prices since that would have been left up to the home team the Crawfords were playing.

Posted question about the Paige signature in the autograph section. Person who's opinion I 100% trust says it is real ....but was signed later in life.. he passed in 1982. It would match a poster printed in the same time frame late 70's ...1982.

Op thanks for posting back...it tells the story... signed by Louis Gosset and Satchel Paige with the phrase Don't look back.... the poster is from the 1981 movie of the same name.... with both those signatures has some value...watch the movie if you see the poster in the movie it will help value.

The other signature, Bobby Angelle, was an outfielder in that movie. This was his last credited role. He also did some stunt work.

Thanks for all the information. I was sure the poster was from the 30's. I'm glad to have verification of the signature. I'll watch the movie.

Nice assist, Jonathan!

This was moved from the memorabilia section to get a few more eyes on it.
