An 18 year thread. I appreciate the dedication to the hunt. E99 and E100 are next on my list to acquire. I’m concerned about how long this is taking you.

It's a marathon with these type cards, not a sprint! The E99 and E100 type 1s shouldn't be extremely difficult. Maybe a few, or more, years but nothing like the E221s, E222s and E100 Type 2s

Good luck, Dan! I am rooting for you.

Good luck with the E99s and E100s. I have completed two E100 and one E99 set since the original post and am no longer pursuing them. As Leon mentioned they are definitely doable. You can probably finish them in 3-5 years. Reach out to Webster as he recently worked on them and might have some dupes to get you started.

As for the others I haven't made much progress picking up a few E222s and one E221 in that time. As Leon knows there are more people looking for them than examples to go around.

How would one even go about valuing an E222 these days? They so rarely come up for auction, and I don't really follow the hobby that much anymore aside from occasionally poking around here...

At the risk of getting messages I don't really want, I've been contemplating selling off my mostly low-grade collection (have lost interest the past few years, and have the first kid starting college in the fall...). I have two E222s - so I guess this is me putting some feelers out.
