The apps usually come with scanners I have purchased. I am sure there are some good, free ones too.

I use eBay completed sales and AH's completed sales as comps....
.

And a card scanned with my Epson Perfection V600, a great scanner for scanning cards etc....

I am trying out the PSA app and have mixed results. I think it also depends upon the era of cards you are searching for.....

VCP app in Google Play and in Apple App store works great but it is not free...if you are already a paying member you can download it and use your login at VCP to use.

You can scan cards and get prices for free in Market Movers. The paid subscription is for additional features.

I like using for free: HA’s Sold Items, sort by Most Recent Sales provides a pretty decent target price for a card.
