Default 1952 Bowman Mantle stamp on the back

I recently purchased a 1952 Bowman Mantle with a “TW” stamped on the back.

Does anyone know if that’s someone’s personal initials or a reason for the stamp?

Whatever info you can provide would greatly be appreciated. image-2025-04-09-17:24:24-437.jpg

Default my guess

Best guess is a kid stamping his initials on a card back in the day. Based on the alignment of the stamps I would postulate its 2 separate one letter stamps as opposed to one big beautiful TW stamp. Nice card.....

Doesn’t show a picture of the back of the card, but the description says “Unfortunately this particular card has a huge TW stamped on the back, but it has a fine looking front and minimal wear.”

Probably from the same collection and agree with above, most likely a kids stamping.

Thank you for finding this, the link you posted doesn’t show the “TW” card. Would you happen to have the updated link? Thanks again.

I missed that part of the description. Thanks for your private investigating, it is what
I needed.
