Finally getting around to sharing some of my vintage autographs, as well as the method I use for framing and matting (which appears towards the end of the video).

This is Part 1 of what will be a 2-part video segment. Feel free to comment, and hope you enjoy....

Great video as always Mark. Do you request a certain glass from the framer to protect the auto?

Thanks so much, and good question...

Yes, I have requested non-glare and/or museum glass in the past (but on very rare occasion). Lately, I've just been using acrylic, because it's not breakable and is much lighter than glass. I am fortunate, in that there are absolutely no windows in the space that I display these, so no direct (or indirect) sunlight.

I would definitely recommend using UV glass if any significant light was to shine directly onto the autos. Hope this is helpful!

Great stuff, Mark. I concur that glare-proof UV-protective glass makes a huge difference if there's any natural light in the room.

For anyone who's interested....

We just released the "Hall of Fame Autographs Part 2" Video on YouTube. Some equally nice autos dating from the teens to the 1950s. Please take a look, as this completes our HOF Autograph segment.
