Yes, that was my son. He;s a great kid. He just graduated from Villanova University in December and is now in their graduate program for accounting & data analytics. Yes, card shows today are very different from the old days. And since we specialize in vintage cards, we have very little do with the majority of younger people who are only interested in modern cards. Probably 90% of foot traffic in regular shows in PA are mostly or solely intersted in modern. Of course there are outliers like the Philly Show. I estimate that about 10% of people at regular shows in our area are looking for vintage. What really amazes me is how many guys that are 45+ old seem only interested in modern also.

But 3 Net54 members stopped by our table and I want to thank them for coming out to Gettysburg!

I hadn't been to a show in a LONG time. Man - all the kids walking about with those black briefcases holding slabs, and I saw one haggling with a dealer, looking at his phone to cite recent sales of whatever modern card he was looking for. VERY different vibe.
