Default Off Topic: esd10 & William Marshall

I’m sorry to go rogue from the “claiming famous relative” thread, but William Marshall is a fascinating figure. Can you expound on your relation to him? He was born during the anarchy and held as a hostage by King Stephen. I think one story had Stephen’s forces placing him in a catapult at the age of 5 threatening to launch him because Marshall’s father (also your relative) reneged on the truce(?)

Fascinating figure. Can you tell us how you came to find out you are related to him? Guy went on crusade, survived the Plantagents.
