That site was a great help when I was putting the '62 set together.

Agree. Would not have been able to complete all the green tint variations as quickly and accurately without that site. Still visit it

That is a great link. I am putting a ‘62 set together and have been debating whether to do the green tints or not. Maybe so

Default Green Tint

I used this site to finish my set as well. I only had one of this series so needed all 86 cards. Some green, some regular. Bought them all on ebay for an average of about $8 per card. That included a few higher dollar Ruth subsets. I went non-graded on the majority and will say look out, more trim jobs out there than I thought. Some look great but don't measure up when in hand. Had to buy about 10 cards twice.

The '62 set chase may be my favorite of those I took on. Part of it is the nostalgia factor as the set came out when i was nine and I really discovering the game. It's the set I remember most from flipping and trading in the courtyard of our school.

This 2012 story from the PSA site is a fun read. And very informative.

There are some neat variants in the 62 set beyond the green tints, and within the green tints there are a bunch of Dick Hall lip fungus variants
