I haven't used it yet. I've been buying my tickets for about half price for baseball games. It's from a website for Veterans, Current Military and First responders. Here's a link for that:

Not sure if this question is serious or tongue in cheek, but they are miles apart. Many miles.

This year both of my daughters moved to different states, in completely opposite directions. One I haven't seen since August. Both are home for Thanksgiving now. Wife and I are very happy.

Good luck to all in getting their health back in line.

Thanks, Dave. I've been consulting Dr. Google on how to heal fractures faster and it seems that some of the studies I found have some good ideas, cryotherapy in particular. Apparently, icing a fracture reduces inflammation and stimulates bone regeneration. The Jones Fracture hurts a hell of a lot more than the Dancer's Fracture but is actually healing faster.

I'm shooting for a full recovery by the National. Should be about the right time-line for PT and working back into shape. Hopefully I am out of the boot at my next MD visit just before Christmas.

I usually go out for long rides on the backroads of western Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Hampshire when I get tired of sitting around at home. I was on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere in the middle of a town forest in Wendell Massachusetts. It's about 90 miles west of Boston. I saw a female moose walking down the road in front of me ! A man was walking down the same road from the other direction with his dog, and his cat following behind him. He saw the moose too. He said he's never seen a moose around that area before. I've never seen on before at all. They're huge ! It made my day.

An obtuse post about a loose moose, not a crass post about a Mass lass.

I have not seen my Cariologist to have my pacemaker reading in 3 years. So I had an appointment for today.......The reading showed no signs of A-FIB in three years and my heart sounds great. I still need to lose some weight but the heart seems to be doing good.

That's always good news about your heart checkup. I bet most of us get told to lose some weight from the doctor.

We recently had two hummingbirds get into our house. No one I called would try to remove them, so I was on my own. Someone on YouTube suggested a crazy idea. He said they always fly up and toward the light and he created this type of trap that they flew up into. It worked and I was able to release them both outside! I did my good deed for the day.

I gotta say, first seeing hummingbirds out here was a frickin' trip.
Always heard of them and saw pictures, of course, but when one was just sitting there in front of me, floating 'unmoving' in mid-air while checking out a persimmon tree...I really had trouble processing what I was witnessing.

We used to get hummingbirds around in my mother's yard in central Massachusetts. They would dip down to get water from the grandkid's kiddie pool. It was very cool to watch.

My mom got a hummingbird moth in her yard one day. if you haven't seen one of those, it's weird. words that came out of my mouth was "That's an ugly hummingbird." They have alien antennas.

I have good news to add also. First, my doctor told me that Rinvoq seems to be working to control my Crohns Disease. I tried three different medications last year. Happy to have one work finally.

Second, my son won a game MVP in his hockey tournament last weekend in Wenatchee, WA. He's a goalie, and he and his co-MVP goalie pal combined to lead the team to an 8-2 victory and 5th place in the tournament. This was his second game MVP this season. His first MVP was for entering a game losing 4-0, and not allowing a goal in the second half of the game. They ended up winning 6-4.
