............. Big THANKS to Bob I. for this very nice back upgrade ......

up15.jpg

............... Off to a nice start on my new T213-2 adventure .............

up16cc.jpg

As as aside, something interesting (at least to me ): Joe Kelley never played or managed NY AL. During Coupon-2 issue he was the head scout for the them (why waist a good image ). I do not know if there is another player/manager that is depicted as a scout ????

Fun, fun, Scott

Nice start and enjoy the journey Scott. Looks like you were able to land 9 from the Federal League. Your Coupon examples are proof that collector condition, and even lower condition, T213-2 cards can have images that are very bold and colorful due to their glossy finish.

Completed my Einstein back run, LOL.

Sorry about the pics--scanner hasn't been connected in years.

Okay, no cracks about how they all look "relatively" similar.

Congrats, in "Theory" you've finished, there may be unknown variants not taken into consideration though.

Theoretically, you are correct, and I may need time travel to find them!

Jerry, yes, corrected.

Brian, Thanks. That's what I like about them, lower grade condition is totally acceptable ....... and in my range ..............

Speaking of condition, fun fact, there is only 1 PSA 6 in PSA pops., NONE higher !!

Fun, fun, Scott

Picked up this T206 Hal Chase white cap card from the BST (thanks Jon), not only because it is a cool beat up card (with a Piedmont 150 back, for those keeping score at home), but also to be able to provide a suitable alternative to the infamous chewed up T206 portrait card of Rube Waddell, which I was the underbidder on many years ago, during stretches when the Waddell is missing in N54 action for an uncomfortably long period of time.

First two pick ups of February were the final two I needed to complete the T206 set of 19 Senators. Elberfeld arrived today and the Johnson portrait was picked up at the Pre-War show in DC!

37 towards 205 for the back run, but that's where the marathon of collecting comes in. A huge thanks to board members wazoo, marcdelpercio, and lug-nut for helping me pull everything together, and to the board member I sat with in DC last weekend that gave me a very fair deal on the Johnson portrait (who's name is escaping me - I hope the drive back to Cleveland was easy!).

Thank you to this community, this is a set I've been waiting 30 years to complete.

Congrats, Brian - well done! Will Senators cards in the T205 set be your next focus?
