Well I'm sure anyone with the forum name Yankeefan51 can find more than adequate grounds to sue himself.

Full disclosure, I can't read the original post or any of bigfootisanidiots's posts because he is the reason I learned how to block people on this site.

That's it.

That's my comment.

In the last couple of years I have worked for George Lopez and Kid Rock (both of whom I enjoyed my time with), so I'm not sure what side of the woke vs snowflake vs rumper bell curve that puts me on, but I am sure that bigfootisanidiot

To me, the GOAT is Adam Moraine's insistance that a couple hundred bucks a year in a Roth IRA, and investing in Sammy Sosa's shoes was going to get him an estate in Greenwich, Conn. that he could retire young to.

I remember a guy named Adrian that was buying some big cards but burned out pretty quickly. He posted so often that his daily thread and post count was limited.

There was also the guy that photoshopped a T206 Wagner into his hand.

matters were posted

I bought/sold/traded many CJ's with Adrian as we were building the set at the same time. Believe he lived in Canada. If you ever dealt with him, he was pretty unforgettable.

I could have purchased a 52T Mantle very inexpensively from Adrian, even in the context of 2014 or whenever it was. But he refused to use an intermediary, and given his apparent instability, I just wasn't willing to send him money and hope for the best.

Adrian is the reason for my profile image. He saw me mention I was in Vegas for the weekend in a thread and he PM’d me asking me if I could bankroll him if he showed up because he’d been learning to count cards. I said “sure” and changed my profile picture as a joke and it’s been that way for whatever number of years it’s been.

This one (from a thread way back when) had a caption that's been long lost to time, but shows him holding the Wagner...

This guy? Andrew Clinton was his name, I believe. From what I remember, he was next-level stupid.

I also found this thread from the Adrian guy, that is quite similar to this thread:

Adrian was insane! The bruces were kind enough to send me a copy of the monster by heitman. They were eccentric to say the least.

The Bruces were great. Always fun to read posts with him in them.

Adrian made me laugh all the time with his constant posting. I swear he hit the Submit Reply button every time he wanted to place a period at the end of each thought/sentence.

Anyway, back to the original thread. Over the years we have seen many members do this. Publicly post their request to leave. I've never understood that. We don't get a bill for being here. There is nothing to cancel. When you get to this point that posts hurt your feelings, or posts get you all heated and you don't like it anymore, there are two things you can choose to do.

1. Don't come back anymore. Again, nothing needs to be cancelled.
2. Stop reading the thread and move on

The announcing-your-departure post is, in effect, just someone screaming for attention for some reason. They want to see a thread they started go viral and they always come back to see the aftermath. It feels good to get all the attention for a while. Even if it is everyone telling you you're a whiner and no one will miss you and buh-bye.

Well, just wanted to share my thoughts on this one.

Here's a couple E93s for the thread.

This one was a classic! In all honesty, this board is great for a lot of reasons, but guys like Andrew turn the entertainment volume up to 11.

A lot of the responses in this thread kind of prove the original poster's point.

Peter Chao, aka Peter Chaos, is certainly in the conversation for GOAT, but I would have to enter Marshall Barkman into the competition for consideration.
