Amazing deduction. But the fact remains that without an actual set of National Chicle cards, it would be near impossible to determine which card this was. I can't just look at the backs and fronts and conclude which player this is. But after looking at what you pointed out, you are clearly correct which player it is.
When I retrieve all of my packs from storage, I will check to see if I still own that particular pack; I did sell one National Chicle pack and I still have two left to sell -- as I picked up one in my last batch of 15 new unopened wax packs.

Yes, I would think with a very strong high power light, you might be able to make out the card
