Bound tightly in thick stack with rubber bands and thrown into an old cigar box or burlap sack.
For longterm storage I suggest a rarely visited corner of the attic at the bottom of a box of random items. I keep it real. |

I often use mylar instead of penny sleeves or card savers, because I find them a little sturdier than the sleeves and more attractive than the card savers, plus I prefer them to rigid toploaders. Here is a pic with one card partially removed on purpose--they don't slide around:
