Paul Muchinsky's book classifies it as baseball. His had a baseball hanger. The football and baseball teams both occupied the Polo Grounds for many years. While the color scheme would suggest football, the baseball Giants went through a ton of uniform colors. I have always thought the vendors sold many of the same pins in both seasons. My display case shows many that could "work" for either team.

Good to know. I never considered that. These days, an NFL team would destroy a one off team of college kids. Not back then?
