Default OT?: Submitting to PSA With Provenance

I'm trying to find out what information PSA needs when I submit a small collection for grading in order to include the provenance on the flip (from the *so and so* collection) if they came from a celebrity collector. I have a COA from the original auction that describes the collection and provenance. Is that all they need and is thst how it works? I've never submitted anything to them yet let alone something like this. Thanks guys!

Brandon

Reach out to them directly through their Customer Portal. First of all, they have to determine that the famous collector is famous enough to deserve provenance flip status. But the level of proof they need likely has changed over time, just like every other policy they have.

Thanks John. The "celebrity" is a deceased actor that was a well known sports memorabilia collector. Items were purchased after their death in an estate auction. Il see if I can reach something at PSA to get a definitive answer.

Yeah, if it's from Robin Williams, it will probably be deserving of the flip mention.

The publicity from having access to Robin Williams' old sportscards collection would be considered great FREE publicity . Joe O. might even return for photo ops ?. ( Nah , just kidding . He's under contract. )
