3. The back has the "hazy" look that all of the Desmond creations have and the back damage that the majority of them have.

The lack of response from anyone at CGC for close to a month now isn't a very good look and I think Mike should note the questions about this card in his article until he does hear from someone.

If this card was real it would be at least a 1k card even in the condition that it's in and it could possibly sell for multiples of that in an auction but if it's a Desmond creation which I believe it is it's a $20-$25 card at best.

Multiple people (including me) asked Andy for an update / comment via DM, twitter, etc... We haven’t heard anything. To me, this also makes me think twice about the card.

I understand Andy’s location was impacted by the hurricane last month so didn’t ask again.

This is good feedback. I’ll add to my article this weekend.

Meanwhile, I continue to try to get Andy to respond. He seems to have stopped logging in to Twitter, as he never read my first message from after the hurricane and hasn’t tweeted since.

I've dissected these before. I agree with the others and that it's a Desmond fake. I think the fronts are real. If you heavily soak the back, there may even be a second "back" underneath the CB ha.

I think he used real fronts on all of the fakes he made. Here's a Piedmont 350 LaPorte that he used to make a Coupon type 1 fake.
