Great collection Gary! My only suggestion is to keep adding to it.

Great stuff Gary...A couple thoughts.

1) A little light on football
2) Not enough Philadelphia Athletics pennants.

Great collection, Gary. A little birdie told me another great one is headed your way. Google photos is a super easy way to keep track of and share your pennants. If you see something you think you might “need,” it’s way easier to look through your organized Google album than a mish mash of photos you might have on your phone or computer. I’ve also made albums of my pins and bobbing head dolls.

In your collection, these particularly caught my eye:

Overland Day
Ca Angels w/ batting Angel
1941 Dodgers (I hate to admit it)
1960 Pirates w/AL walking the gang plank (that’s what happened)
Yankees grommet

What’s going on with the red Phillies sliding #4 runner? It almost looks like the red felt was applied to a white substrate.

You seem to beat a few different bushes than the usuals, Gary. If you ever see the Keezer Giants shown by bocca in post #8953 (a couple of pages back), I would be forever in your debt if you would snag it up and then flip it to me. Of pennants I could afford, it’s #1 on my wantlist.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.

Rob, I'm looking forward to getting the newest arrival. I'll add photos when I get it. You picked out a couple of my favorites (e.g. the Overland Day and the Yankees Grommet).

The Phillies Sliding Runner pennant is a funny one. The tip is missing. It looks like a previous owner gave it a tip transplant but couldn't be bothered to match the color. But it seemed good value for the $5 it cost me.

I'll definitely keep an eye out for the Keezer. It's hard to believe there's a Giants pennant that you don't already have.

I want to add some metadata to the photos (year, manufacturer, team, etc) to make it easier to search the photos. If anyone knows if this is possible on Google Photos, please let me know.

I certainly know nothing about “metadata” The other Rob might know.

There are probably ten SF Giants pennants I “need.”

Speaking of needs and all of these 1910 era pennants we have been discussing, this zoomed in image comes from an old photo from a Santa Clara university campus room. I think it depicts a baseball player. Does the particular player shape/image look familiar to anyone? Does anyone have a pennant from a different team/school with this same player graphic/emblem?

Gary, try clicking on the "i" (info) button on the top right corner of each image within your album. A side panel will open exposing a box for "Description" where you can add any further info. I believe these notes are searchable within the album/application, so when you're questioning whether/not you already own a '57 WS dueling pennant ... you'll find it relatively quickly if properly identified (you do!).

Great collection! Thanks for sharing.

I may have shared this, but these are my "most wanted." A couple seem to exist only in a photo.

Have the 3-D Collegiate … would trade for either a Dodgers or Red Sox 3-D, unfortunately those are just as rare if not more.

I have to cut a slit in the holder so the bill of his cap sticks out as it should …

I know three people who would love to own that Hamm's and I suspect only one of us, at most, ever will.
