I'd prefer seperation, but I'm fine with either decision. I'm already used to checking the memorabilia forum for autograph posts that originate there and as a signed card collector I check all the B/S/T sub-forums because most of the time if someone is selling say... a signed 1956 Topps card they list it in the 1950-1959 B/S/T.

I will say that in response to the lack of engagement in the auto forum, I can't think of another subsection of sports collecting that appears to me less willing to share than vintage baseball autograph collectors. This doesn't blanket everyone, and there are many people here that share as much as they can, but many of the prominent collectors say as little as possible on most subjects.

Every thread needs a card: Here's a pair of 54's I grabbed recently.

As one who is primarily an autograph collector, I also prefer the sections stay separate. As far as the overall forum is concerned, what really is to be gained by combining them? If there is some advantage, would you also suggest combining the vintage and modern sections since there isn't much daily posting activity in the modern section either? (I can imagine all the vintage collectors picking up torches and pitchforks at the very thought of such heresy...lol!)

That said, I can live with whatever you decide. Thanks for all you do Leon!

I also prefer separate. It would be a fair bit of work to find the few threads that deal with what I am interested in.
