Thanks!

I am closing in on completing one of my pet projects--collecting all cards for Jewish players between 1887 and 1955. Still not done after 20 years, as I am still missing two toughies--T210 Moxie Manuel and 1910 Ju-Ju Drums Pelty.

I may never complete this project, but it has been one hell of a fun ride!

Do you have a website with your collection? I’d love to see it.

Jeff,
My goal is to put it all together, but it is coming together very slowly. It's nothing monumental like your collection, but it has been fun. Making an effort to bequeath it to a NYC museum.

Which N172/N173s do you have? I picked up this one last year (N173). Was collecting these too but some of the backgrounds were questionable on some lists.

Did you get a lipman pike? I didnt win one of those in that auction they were all in last year.

Thanks for all the interest, guys.

I have the Old Judge Stearns pose Throwing, R/Hand Thigh High. I stopped collecting his cards because, as you say, there is considerable doubt about his ethnicity. Unfortunately, I did not win the Lipman Pike. I think it went for some astronomical sum, maybe $80K or more, and I could not rationalize that purchase (lol), as irrational as I've been on some purchases.

The reason I don't have it all of these together and posted on a site is because the pictures I took for insurances purposes are of very low quality, taken with an iPhone. I was going to post the picture of Stearns, but it does the card no justice. I will post a few of my favorites later. I did not save jpegs from auctions or screen shots until more recently, unfortunately, and some of the auction houses no longer exits. One of these days I will systematically take better pictures, when I find the time.
