Clearly in the very first sentence, I state that I have no horse in this race, which I don't. Can't recall ever interacting with the member taking all of the scorn. Maybe a contrarian will dig up posts that show me conversing with him, but it would be a surprise to me. And that's followed by me saying that I have no interest in getting wrath for bringing it up.

Literally, nothing there to argue about. I stated that I was confused about the anger and basically asked, "What's the problem with mentioning a beanie here?"

See, any rational person (which would exclude you), might say, "JollyElm, much like Steven Tyler with his scarves, it is well-know that a yarmulke is sort of Probstein's trademark, and that's why there's blowback."

I would've said, "Okay, thanks for the info."

Why would anyone want you to apologize? That sentence was very, very obviously referring to Fuddjcal's spin - is it not obvious that only the person who made the antisemitic comment would be the one to sincerely apologize?
