Agreed. He was scheduled to be at the Chantilly show next month. He definitely was not slowing down.

MLB is showing their true colors with not reporting on this.. even TMZ has it as their top story.

I got notifications on my phone from ESPN, WSJ, and NYT. It's the headline story on ESPN right now.

Nobody played the game harder than Rose. Other played as hard but that's an elite group that put it out there all the time.

Maybe they'll open what Pete probably considered his "pearly gates" and finally enshrine the hit master. No reason to keep him out now.

I can remember getting autographs from him in the 70s. He was a good signer. It was always fun to see the Big Red Machine in town, except having to watch your team lose.
