Almost everything I've read here indicates Al runs a spectacular auction house. Are you sure the email address you used didn't have a typo?

I messaged through his website so there was no error in entering an email address. Everything is good Al has reached out to me and explained and answered my questions. I agree, Al is great as are the auctions he runs. Not a complaint here

+1. Al might be a one-man show at Love of the Game, but he's the greatest one-man show since Billy Joel!

Al is not a one man show.

This has been raised a number of times . . . .

He (hey Al) probably wishes he had the payroll of a one man show!

Really a well done catalog and a lot of interesting stuff.

Hi Al,

Nice '74 Laughlin Old-Time Black Stars run you have in the current auction. It includes some highest-graded examples (e.g. PSA 9's of Mendez, Bell, Frank Grant, Charleston, Rube Foster - and in case anyone is wondering, I am NOT the consigner).

I couldn't help but notice that the descriptions included for each of these are copied verbatim from my PSA Registry Set. I'm flattered that you think my blurb adds value to your auctions, but I am conflicted (particularly since I am a retired academic) about the lack of attribution. Perhaps the parenthetic inclusion of "Description from Paleocards' 1974 Laughlin Old-Time Black Stars set, #1 on the PSA Set Registry from 2012-2023," or something to that effect, would have been appropriate.

Thanks,
Andy Kramer (paleocards)
