You know I was just giving you a hard time; you’re doing great!

I really didn’t know about how the signs were used either. Mine was just a guess.

Oh, and PLEASE post another example…

Default Baltimore Orioles Jersey Night Sign

Day 255 – 12 September 2024
Another sign from the 1980s at Memorial Stadium is advertising “Orioles Team Jersey Night.” The jersey’s are sponsored by Crown Gas.

Love these type of small signs. Really nice that the attachment for the jersey is still on there.

Default Oriole Fans

Most of us are Orioles fans and I really enjoy photos of fans, especially from back in the day. I don’t think I posted this one before, but thought some of you may enjoy this oversized shot of some fans that are ready to beat the Red Sox.

Adding to Marks Fan Post. Here is a trio of Snapshots taken at the 1966,1967 and 1968 Bethlehem Steel Night games. The cardboard cutouts show Curt Blefary (interesting choice!) and Frank in 1966, Clank and Frank! While 1967 and 1968 show Boog and Brooks. I really like how the snaps are in labeled envelops (aside from 68). I wonder if the shots were developed right then and there? Polaroid land cameras were self developing and the outer envelopes have the nice branding. But I dont know why they say A POLAROID COLOR PRINT when in b&w, maybe a bit cheaper? Hope you all enjoy. Being a snapshot collector I really like these.

Blefary was the A.L. ROY in 1965 (which may have influenced the choice)

Lucas,

Those are such neat items; thanks for posting. I’ve never really have seen these before with the exception of a photo on the Fleer Sticker Project where Brooks and Blair are pictured in one of the Bethlehem Steel Night games with a young girls head on Etch’s (I think) body. They were wearing the vest type jerseys so I’m unsure of the year of the game.

I’ve viewed your snapshot collection in the past; very NICE!
