I picked up this sweet 1934 baseball autographed by members of the Cardinal's "Gas House" gang; Dizzy Dean, Paul Dean, Pepper Martin, etc. This is especially sweet as the Dean brothers were the first team of brother pitchers to win all 4 games of the World Series in 1934.
Heck it even came with snapshots from the game, the original box, a 1936 R311 of the 34 Champs, and a PSA cert! |

It would be nice if you could read who is signing for the "team," as in having their name printed underneath. Also, who are the other team members?--remember when PSA would list them at the bottom of their LOAs? In the future, it would be instructive to know that such authorities as Keating, Corcoran, etc., were on the "team" that authenticated this ball, but that information will be lost to the sands of time, and that seems a shame.

One of the earliest if not the earliest Expos signed baseball , This ball was signed about a month before The Expos played their inaugural game April 8th 1969 at Shea Stadium, ball was signed by 30 players including the coaches and manager, most of the players were chosen in the 1968 expansion draft by the Expos , The key signature for me is Dave Hartman who was the 1st player in Expos history to sign a contract with them but never made it to the big show, ball is in NM condition rarely taken out from its origanal box in 55 years

Thanks. I didn't mean the ball, I actually meant the PSA "team" as they refer to themselves, as Beckett lists at the bottom of their letter, and as PSA used to. I assume that's Grad who has signed this one, but it would be nice to have a printed name underneath as the signature is unintelligible. At least Beckett tells you who the "team" was that could have participated in the authentication of this ball, and that's important provenance, it seems to me.
