Default 1971 Crown Baltimore Orioles Pocket Schedule

Day 249 – 6 September 2024
This 1971 Crown Baltimore Orioles Schedule featuring Brooks Robinson and Paul Blair eluded me for quite a while. I really love this photo of Brooks on the cover. It had some damage on the corner but otherwise is nice enough. It features the schedule of the 1970 WS Champions. Crown Gasoline had the best advertisements with the Orioles and Brooks. I would love to find the sticker of Brooks that was affixed to the Gasoline pumps. I have seen one. This one evades me, too, but someday I will find one.

with today being the anniversary of Cal Ripken Jr. surpassing Lou Gehrig for the most consecutive games record, I thought I'd share this signed/inscribed game worn jersey of starting leftfielder Mark Smith, who wore this jersey in both the 2130 and 2131 contests:

Was anyone from this board fortunate enough to be at these games?

Default Baltimore Orioles 1982 Bumper Sticker Sign

Day 250 – 7 September 2024
I really enjoy collecting Baltimore Oriole related bumper stickers. This sign fits into that category. I thought this was hung at Memorial Stadium but was corrected. In 1982 you would find these at Crown Gas Stations. The gas attendant I guess, if asked, would hand out bumper stickers. The sign says “Ask Attendant.” The sign is made of cardboard and measures 12 in X 19 in. Anyone know what bumper stickers were provided free of charge?

Charlie my recollection was those bumper stickers were handed out at gas stations (Crown most likely) and not at Memorial Stadium
