Default September Pick ups

Happy Labor Day weekend!

I'm generally more of a post-war collector, but here's a nice t205 I bought.

Here's a 1/1 postcard with Ty Cobb front and center, when he was loaned to a semi-pro team for two exhibition games in 1916.

Some amazing pick ups this month, congrats to all the members.

Super happy to pick up another 1914 Texas Tommy. Big thanks to Ed Hans.

This is my 2nd Yahtzee Box Find Texas Tommy of the 8 that were discovered in the find.

Finally got this Gehrig. Lost out on it at a Heritage Auction in Nov 22 when we were still in the hospital just after my son was born. Recently acquired it from the guy who outbid me that night:

There's a small crease between his head and his bat. It's not very visible, and doesn't bother me, but that's why it's a 3.5

Beautiful card! Congratulations. I've said it before, and will say it until I die, that is the finest Lou Gehrig card of them all.

It is Hack Wilson. It has an autograph by Wilson right on it. Did Leon possibly post the wrong item?

Awesome Jeff, I bought that postcard on eBay a couple years ago when it was raw but the seller cancelled the sale and guessing sold it to someone else. Love it.
