My one winning from Heritage auction.

1935 St Louis Browns GU lineup card signed by manager Rogers Hornsby.

There were a few vintage lineup cards I was chasing, I was the 2nd highest bidder on the 1931 US Tour of Japan ball, and I was pursuing the Jackie Robinson award watch but ultimately was beyond my budget.

In looking at the wide array of prices realized for memorabilia, I came away thinking this was one of the best buys (if not the best) in the entire auction. Perhaps a tie between this and Johnny Mize's NY Giants Jersey. That said, it's really tough to find any other lot that could be considered a "good buy".

Great snag on the Hornsby Scorecard! I had to work hard for the Bob Chipman Cubs Road Flannel (my lone win). Such a beautiful and rare style with "CHICAGO" underlined in red, and one of the few Cubs shirts in this auction with no restoration...

That’s beautiful, Mark! You REALLY needed another jersey!

BTW, do you know what the Mays bat ended at?

Looks like it was a tidy $75 Grand

But if you are so inclined, you can make the winning bidder an offer of $120K or more (should you win a future lottery).

Thanks! Part of the allure of lineup cards for me from the beginning was the chance to get something actually used in a game, at a much lower price than a GU jersey or bat. The strategy has allowed me to pick up WS lineup cards from close to 20 WS's, and items from many significant games.

The item that stood out for me as far as price was the Musial jersey. As a top 10 player all-time, with a sterling reputation and career with a single, iconic team, I don't understand how his jerseys sell for so much less than others in the general category, but that's something I would love to one day be able to acquire.

Previous purchase, but graded by Beckett and finally arrived today. Wasn't in a rush to grade, but then learned PSA had stopped grading stamped-date tickets. Worried Beckett would follow suit...

Now trying to find his other 867 home run tickets....
