I went even though I didn't plan to. I got an auto from Bernie Williams too. There was an unexpected amount of pre war and not just T206. I also met forum member Howard who was nice to talk to and had great vintage cards and items. I saw about 7 1952 Mantles throughout. Prices in general were high even after some bargaining and I stuck out at this one. A fair amount of under age 40 dealers and customers including those with lock boxes ready to wheel and deal for Bobby Witt Jr refractors

Was there on Friday. It's very misleading to call that show a "National". It's basically the normal White Plains show with more autograph opportunities. Yes there were a few dealers exiled to the basement (Maybe 20-30), which they had to keep announcing to remind people they were there. I spent less than 5 minutes down there before realizing there was not much of interest to me. 99% cards at this one. As mentioned, a good amount of vintage. Very little memorabilia.

.
This has always been a huge head-scratcher to me as well, especially when it was just housed on one floor.

I had the pleasure of doing a couple transactions with Howard Chasser. I wouldn’t hesitate to go to him, great guy! I had to get a picture of my favorite card! (Not mine Howard’s)

Danny, my son and I were 5 feet to your left when you took that photo! If I knew you were on Net54 I would've introduced myself.

Just a thought, seems like those that were there Friday were, let's say, underwhelmed with the show, but those that were there Saturday, including myself, were impressed and thought it was great...maybe additional dealers set-up on Saturday? Again, speaking for Saturday only, it was very busy, great vibe, awesome selection of Vintage, etc, etc. If I didn't have plans today, I would've gone back for more. (Danny, you were there yesterday, you agree?).

I would think that it's more of a marketing strategy. That said, compared to other White Plains shows throughout the year, they only open the basement up for this show.

Hank, I don't know...it was at Goldin's Booth. (Ryan, do you know what that is?)

Ryan- Danny was just holding it, I do not think he purchased it...PS, come up to the show next time, you can stay with us overnight.

Mike, I appreciate the offer. Maybe. Summers are tough for us, but perhaps one day!

Hank, reach out to Joe T (vintageclout on here) and he can help.

I’m going to assume that’s a Fatima Johnson unless I’m looking at the wrong thing

I've been to this show on occasion, but haven't been for a few years now. It should be called the "East Coast Regional" show rather than the "East Coast National". Everyone had a a different perspective, depending on what you collect. But, there is very little memorabilia at any show, regardless of the size. Shows have changed post Covid and they are better, worse, or the same depending on your point of view.

Thanks for posting that Sammy. Fun video. Was my man John Goodman there? I haven’t reached out. I have been on the fence all week. Going to Pennsylvania with the family tomorrow. Wanted to pick up a catchers mit and baseball pants for my son.

But now I sort of got the 1950, 1955 Bowman and C46 cards on my mind…
