While the Briggs in an absolute sense is scarcer, The condition this Stahl Meyer is in blows away the Briggs.

I am accepting select private consignments of quality vintage cards (raw or graded) and collecting "want" lists for higher end ($1K+) vintage cards.

This card won't last long at that price. Wish I had the money.

“Words can't describe how excited I am to be able to bring to market what I believe is arguably the most significant post war baseball card in existence! See the website for more details. The Stahl Meyer cards were distributed in packages of hot dogs! The offered example (along with a scant few others) was saved from the greasy demise by a printing company employee.

Asking price is $2.657 million”

I’d imagine you are. What’s the most that any Stahl Meyer card has ever sold for?

The card had many visitors and people who appreciated seeing it in person.

As of Today the card is still available for sale. There are a couple of ongoing dialogues.

Thank you Jay. Great care was taken with security going to, at, and coming home from the show. I am happy to report the card is safe and secure.

No shade at Howard or Brian I hope they get that asking price!

It will be interesting to see if the Mantle will bring nearly 30X as much as the Mays.

Cards like this sometimes fall through the cracks in auctions. The Mays has since been privately placed for significantly more than the $93K auction sale and is not for sale.

That said if you think about what a 52 Mays in a PSA 9 (or 10) might sell for Vs. a 52 Mantle in a PSA 9 (or 10) today, I think you'll quickly realize that comparing prices of Mantle and Mays is comparing apples and oranges.

Sure we would have heard but wondering if this card sold? Not asking for a friend.
