Looks good at first blush. I would be leery as to why it isn't graded, but toning and ink stamp coloring look OK. May have been held in photo corner holders at one time.

Thx Todd - I am meeting with the seller on Sunday to help advise him on his best options.

This Jackson is one of a few dozen cards he has from this set. Looks like he potentially has a big one on his hands here. Am excited to see his whole collection (dad owned an antique shop, apparently)

Sounds like a fun weekend. I'm sure you'll give him good advice. I would be interested to know what you see. FYI, I have only seen three Morehouse Baking cards with the purple stamp that were graded, and all received numerical grades from SGC, one as high as 60. No guarantees but it may influence whether the seller wants to submit other cards for grading-- the Jackson of course should be submitted if you think it's authentic--even an "A" grade will at least assure collectors that it is the real deal.

I'd agree. That's a blockbuster card which should be in a holder.

Here's what a Cobb looks like.

Fantastic card, Jeff. I still need a Morehouse for my new collection but it won't be a Cobby unless I find it in a dollar box (not likely).
