This one (with identical Player graphic) has always been attributed to the 1930s-40s....

So either the maker kept this graphic on file for a few decades, or the Mini Pennant is significantly more recent than the historian estimated. I would tend to believe it's the latter, but eager to hear what others think.

Very interesting. I know the "Indianapolis Hoosiers" name was used for teams in 1884, 1887-89, and 1914. This is a 9-inch pennant. I'd love to know the real story, for sure.

How about the rest of the stuff on that page? I'll bet You could put your kids through college AND buy yourself a nice house from what you'd make flipping just what you can see there!

Stretching the definition of pennant a bit and not sure what I'll ever do with it, but this was too cool to pass up. I was told it hung in Briggs Stadium in 1952, where the Texans played twice that year. The search for a picture begins...
