It might not have everything listed in the standard catalog but for me it has been replaced by TCDB. The Trading Card Data Base doesn’t have value amounts but those weren’t much use from the standard catalog anyway.

I use TCDB if I know what issue I am looking for and it is excellent at that task. I learned a large percentage of my knowledge entering the hobby on identification and new issues (to me) by constantly thumbing through the Standard Catalog. Just perusing those pages gave me an encyclopedia of knowledge.
