Thanks, Cliff. Looks like I don't have Campaneris either. Do they ever come in packaging? Or were they likely just sold loose at stadiums or through souvenir catalogs?

I imagine these were unlicensed since there is no company name on them and there were so many names misspelled. It occurred to me last night that there are no Vida Blue’s known in this set which seemed very odd because he was a superstar in the early ‘70s.

Interesting. I had just assumed they were made by ASCO or some such company. Do you also have a list of the black box football pins? I know they are less common. I have John Brodie and I know I've see pins for George Blanda, Norm Snead, and OJ Simpson.

I wish now I did keep scans of every NFL black box pin I ran across but I did keep a few and I found a bunch just now looking on WorthPoint, I'm sure there are more. It's debatable on the Csonka, it doesn't have a team name and it's from the WFL.

Those are great. It looks like the football set was a little more star-driven.

I have never been much of a pin guy. But a Long time ago I purchased a large cardboard sheet, blue writing against an orange maybe salmon color. And it was covered un these little team pins. I sold them as sets until finally someone came along and asked to buy the whole sheet. But I did stash away these. Not a complete set as I remember a red sox and a Dodger pin.

Interesting. Crane used a blue and orange/salmon color scheme.
