Default Pair of Signed Mantle cards 1956, 1957

Have these in my possession with the plan to send them off to PSA. Dose anybody know if they will authenticate a card with tape? If not I would rather save money. Nice pair available for private sale.

Guarantee there's a Jack (or maybe even Zack if you look at an angle hehe) on the forum who would want that! Nice ones.

To answer your question, yes, they will authenticate it with tape over the signature as long as they are certain the autograph is authentic.

I would not ask them to grade it.

Much has been said about how careful and considerate Mick's signature placement was. I always felt that the '57, with its limited light space, typified these stories. He nearly always signed it down the uniform so that the autograph would be the most visible. It wasn't the most aesthetically pleasing angle, but he worked with the space he had. Look how he even managed to squeeze in the personalization without making the whole affair too cramped!

Randy Thanks for answering my question. Much appreciated.
I agree that Mantle did an excellent job of marrying his signature to the object he was signing. My Dad was always a fan of the Equitable print of Mantle and when I got it signed for him in 89 I just laid it down and He signed it at the perfect angle. I like this 57 very much just time for alot of things I like to go.
