It's rare that I get to participate in this monthly thread, but I made some fun recent deals with my California friend Mike and his extensive PCL inventory, and also Sports Artifacts. To keep on topic with pre-war, a John "Monk" Sherlock Zeenut that I am told completed my 1933 sepia Hollywood Stars team set. Also, a nice selection of 1948 Signal Gasoline Oakland Oaks, in beautiful color photography 5 years before Bowman. Don't get too excited, though, because.... they're all trimmed! But, the 9 includes Casey Stengel, Billy Martin, and Ernie Lombardi!

 That has changed since my good friend Luke made these available .......  pu01c.jpg Who needs a uni, bi, or even a tricycle, when you can have a Penta-Cycle ......  Fun, fun, Scott
