Default Shigeo Nagashima

Picked up some 1958 rookies (and one 1960 card) of the great Japanese player Shigeo Nagashima, Mr. Giants.

I recently got into Japanese cards and began picking up rookies/early cards of the greats - Oh, Nomura, Nagashima, Kaneda, Starffin, Kawakami. Other than Oh, these are cards are extremely affordable and I absolutely love the aesthetics and designs of these Japanese menko cards.

Although I don't collect them, older Japanese cards, like those shown, always look so fun. I especially like this one that you showed. Mr. Nagashima looks like he is a crazed lunatic hellbent on swatting down that little cartoon boy.

Although not a rookie like the others in the bunch, yes that is my favorite of the group It does look like he is looking at the bat boy rather menacingly.

Hey all just getting into pre-war and vintage and won 3 cards in my first-ever non-ebay auction for my project of cards for the roster of the 1903 Boston Americans. I got these 3 for $265 total including the premium. How did I do (I can take criticism if I didn't do well LOL)?

Great start. When it comes to T206, centering, color and general eye appeal are typically hotter commodities. Yours definitely qualify for the price. Nice pickups.

Just got this. Not in great shape, but I love the shot. Is it just me, or is this not one of Mick's best poses?
