I was in a battle (and lost) for the 1910-Era Original Pitching Grip Photograph Collection (15) Including Walter Johnson and Chick Gandil.

If the winning bidder is in here and would part with a Walter Johnson photo please let me know!

I did pick up a photo I've always wanted (and could afford at Type III) of Lou sitting on the dugout steps after he benched himself.

Wonderful photo. Lou looking wistfully . . . watching guys hustling . . . the bat just lying there. That's art.

I bowed out of that one early, as it went where I had expected.

I only had in interest in one of them, with my m113 fetish giving a clue.
