Hard to reconcile that beautiful writing with the sloppy signatures of last 30 years. Yes of course he’s older. But still. I’ve never seen a Mays anything that beautiful.

And he didn't purposely put his thumb against the wet ink to intentionally smudge it. Very nice!

I’ve never understood his modern autograph. How is that first thing a “W”? And where’s the “s” in Mays?
