I recently completed this HOF Bob Feller framed project related to his historic 3rd no-hitter.
When Feller achieved this lofty achievement in 1951, he joined only pitchers Larry Corcoran (D-1891) and Cy Young (D-1955) in the 3 no-hit club. It should be noted that in the 75 years since, Sandy Koufax (4 no-hitters), Nolan Ryan (an unparalleled 7 no-hitters) and Justin Verlander (3 no-hitters) are also included in this exclusive no-hit HOF. It features a scarce fully-dated ticket stub to his 3rd no-hitter on July 1, 1951, a signed celebration photo, a Hollreiser This Day In Baseball newspaper comic related to the game and a Feller memorial patch that was worn by the 2011 Cleveland Indians after Feller passed at 92 on December 10, 2010. Enjoy! Last edited by Scott Garner; 04-10-2024 at 03:45 AM. |

It seems like we are chasing a similar path in framing cool tickets with great complimentary artifacts related to our collecting themes. Truth be known, I look forward to your posts too! |

I have quite a few in my home office where I spend much of my time. Also, the stairwell to the basement is about 95% saturated at this point. Honestly, my completed framed projects are nearing an end game. I'm happy that I've been able to complete and hang several collections that have simply been conceptual projects for years... It's nice to complete what you envision. ![]() Last edited by Scott Garner; 04-11-2024 at 04:29 AM. |

Griffey Jr and Sr first game together in the big leagues. I went to that game 34 years ago. That night I purchased an extra ticket and dropped in my program and promptly forgot about it for 30+ years. When I rediscovered I sent it in to PSA and it graded a PSA 8 which was the highest graded full on the population report at that time. I later learned that it was possible to get it signed. I cracked it out nervously. I got it back today and I’m pleased that I decided to roll the dice. Now I hope it receives the same grade when I resubmit it. If it fails to get an 8 grade no worries I’ll still be happy with it.
