Just a weird side note, but each paragraph in that letter is a single sentence...and only one period was used. Don't know what that punctuation is at the end of the second paragraph, and the third one just rolls into the closing, which is quite odd. It just jumped out me.

I noticed that too. I work with a guy now, in a position of management. He knows a lot about engineering but writes in continuous, run on sentences. It gives me headaches!
