I can't find my ruler, but it's small. Probably about an inch or inch and a quarter.

Thanks. In your second picture (the back), is that a Union/maker’s mark on the curl or did the paint wear off?

It’s a union makers mark. I have the same pin.

Bought a huge collection of pinback buttons in a small, obscure auction because I saw one New York Giants football button in the lot that I had never seen before. In addition to baseball pinbacks, I also collect New York Giants football ones.

They just arrived and there are buttons from as far back as the late 1800s. Some service awards, coat buttons and other miscellaneous trinkets are mixed in but here’s the Giants button. Apparently it was part of a set offered by Heinz Foods in 1967.

As part of that lot that I bought, I also picked up a mid-80s Goose Gossage pinback and. Bobby Bonilla coin.
