I agree.
Also, the pop on a PSA 5 and higher is 14. Besides the T206 and M116, I can only think of only a few issues that depict a playing age Wagner that actually looks like him. I am far from an expert on prewar, but he just doesn't have too many really nice-looking cards. The ultra-modern market can be manipulated rather easily, and I expect to now see a bunch of Wagners hitting the market. From M116 and beyond ....

What does this do, if anything, for the pastel?

Huh? Wagner has many playing age cards. LOL. Not sure if you are referring to him or the card not being nice looking but imo many of his playing age cards are good looking cards.

As I mentioned, he doesn't have many cards that look like him, save the few I had mentioned. Just my opinion. Your opinion may be different, and that is okay.

I've always liked the M101 and Collins McCarthy sets for having actual photos of Wagner.

I think Wagner portrait are particularly desirable, considering his portrait is the most famous in all of baseball cards. Personally, aside from the t206, I think the Tip Top is THE one to own given it’s the closest thing to the T206 pose out there. We had that poll A while ago and I think the E90-2 finished first, followed by the Tip Top and the W600, but I do believe the blue M116 got many votes. It’s a great card.
