Yes Al, that Cleveland one has eluded me. The Pittsburgh variations are a huge mystery. I’m pretty sure these pins were distributed locally in the Minneapolis area in 1962. Why then were two versions made? I also know there are two kinds of pins on the back: spring pin and the attached pin version. Do the Pirates pins have these two different pins?

Mike both my pirates are the straight pin version. If you look on the other post my White sox is the bayonette back style of pin. picture is there... Love these pins..

I'm guessing they simply produced the mis-spelled "Pittsburg" version before catching their mistake... and then substituted the corrected "Pittsburgh" version.
